The start of the inaugural Dial Before You Dig Australian Six Hour has been delayed by 15 minutes, after an incident on the front straight during the morning’s Saloon Car race.
The race will now start at 10:45 local time, and finish at 16:45.
Earlier, the morning warm-up was topped by Stuart Kostera, who will be behind the wheel of the pole-sitting Team Mitsubishi Ralliart Evo X for the opening stint of the race.
Second fastest in the brief 15-minute session was David Wall, followed by Inky Tulloch, Peter O’Donnell, and Tony Quinn.
The Disc Brakes Australia Honda Integra had its bonnet fly up in the session with Terry Conroy at the wheel, and will now start from pit-lane.
The day’s race is set to be run under fine and sunny conditions, with the cool predicted maximum of 19° providing ideal conditions for racing.
