Hi-Tec support for the Shannons Nationals
The Shannons Nationals Motor Racing Championships continues to expand and evolve with each passing season, so it's no real surprise that immediately prior to the Eastern Creek round of the 2011 series, that they would reveal an exciting new association that will benefit the Nationals for seasons to come.
Hi-Tec Oils, Australia's leading independent oil producer, in association with the Shannons Nationals, have announced that they will become a presenting sponsor of the series starting from the Eastern Creek round.
To be known as 'The Shannons Nationals presented by Hi-Tec Oils', their involvement will allow the Nationals to take another step forward in the promotion and marketing of what is Australia's highest profile circuit racing series.
"We've been working hard over the last six seasons to establish a credible, consistent and competitive circuit racing series to cater for a variety of categories on a national basis, so to receive news like this gives us great recognition that we're heading down the right path," Nationals Series Director Rob Curkpatrick acknowledged.
"Hi-Tec's involvement, alongside our long-term supporters Shannons, will give us the opportunity to build greater awareness of the Nationals, and provide opportunities for a variety of our core categories to build for the future. There are some very exciting opportunities ahead, and more will be revealed in the coming months as we work towards the 2012 calendar," he added.
"Aside from allowing us to improve the profile of the series, Hi-Tec are also looking to strongly promote the association with their own marketing programs, and have a few ideas of their own which will benefit the Nationals, so we're very excited."
"Like the Shannons Nationals, Hi-Tec Oils is expanding all the time," Hi-Tec Oils CEO George Gambino admitted.

As part of their association with the Shannons Nationals, Hi-Tec Oils will be in attendance at each round of the series, and more than happy to discuss how they can assist competitors with products to suit both their racing, and their daily needs.
The association kicks off at Eastern Creek, and being Hi-Tec's back yard (Head Office is 15 minutes away in Smithfield), they will be highly visible in the pits on what looks like being one of the best events in the history of the Shannons Nationals, now presented by Hi-Tec Oil

Shannons Nationals
The Shannons Nationals Motor Racing Championships was formed in 2006 as a partnership between racing categories, circuit promoters and the Confederation of Australian Motorsport (CAMS).
Providing a regular and stable home for a wide variety of national-level motor racing categories, the Shannons Nationals combines a mixture of touring car, sports car and open-wheel racing.
Events deliver value-for-money entertainment for motorsport fans, with non-stop quality racing and affordable admission prices. Spectators can also get up-close with the cars and speak to the drivers in the easily-accessible pit paddocks at every round.
In 2011, the seven-round championship will visit seven different circuits in four states.
Shannons continues their valued and enthusiastic support of the series in 2011, enabling the Shannons Nationals to continue to grow in its sixth year.
